Very timely post: This message is for the rabid Republicans who constantly blast and blame DEMS for everything today in politics. 

First up is that Trump speech in GA reported on here from NBC NEWS.

I now tell Republicans in Trump's corner to take notes, wake up, and do the research to fully understand and comprehend the danger that the following articles imply as reported on SALON.com with this headline and others below:

“Kari Lake takes wild leap in Trump's defense, threatening gun violence against DOJ and Biden”

During a speaking engagement in GA by failed AZ Republican gubernatorial candidate, Kari Lake, made a wild leap in Trump's defense by weighing in on his indictment via threats of physical violence against AG Merrick Garland, Special Counsel Jack Smith, and President Joe Biden while speaking to hardcore GA Republicans. 

Lake said: “Anyone coming after Trump, I have a message tonight for Merrick Garland, and Jack Smith, and Joe Biden. And the guys back there in the fake news media, you should listen up as well, this one's for you. If you wanna get to President Trump, you're gonna have to go through me, and you're gonna have to go through 75 million Americans just like me. And I'm gonna tell you, most of us are card-carrying members of the NRA. That's not a threat, that's a public service announcement.”

My 2 Cents: Short and simple as stated above and my lifelong view. Speech noted in the articles above are NOT protected nor FREE SPEECH.

“In legal parlance a true threat is a statement that is meant to frighten or intimidate one or more specified persons into believing that they will be seriously harmed by the speaker or by someone acting at the speaker’s behest. True threats constitute a category of speech — like obscenity, child pornography, fighting words, and the advocacy of imminent lawless action — that is not protected by the First Amendment.”

It must stop or we could see a repeat January 6 three-fold or worse – the total end of our democracy … think carefully about that and in which direction you want the MAGA-Trump supporters to take us from this point forward.

Their threats must stop and must stop now.
