Trump's "Big Lie" Hits Texas: He Demands That Gov. Abbott (R) Order 2020 Election Audit

Trump by any measurement, standard, yardstick, or logic is I am not convinced, a “Clear and Present Danger” to our entire democratic structure of government, society, and future now more so based on this story in Texas where his sustained 2020 “Big Lie” has taken root.

· Trump wants Texas Gov. Greg Abbott to add an audit of the 2020 election to a special legislative session agenda.

· Trump defeated Joe Biden in Texas by 5.6% (some 600,000 votes).

· Trump's demand also comes just one day before AZ is set to unveil their 2020 results conducted by the sham “cyber ninja audit.”

Trump won the state of Texas during the 2020 presidential election by some 600,000 votes (5.65%), but is now demanding that Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott push for an audit of the election just like the one wrapping up in AZ, saying in his statement to Abbott: “Despite my big win in Texas, I hear Texans want an election audit. You know your fellow Texans have big questions about the November 2020 Election.”

Background: Abbott recently called a third special legislative session into action in the hopes of redrawing the state's congressional map, restricting transgender students from participating in school sports teams that align with the gender they identify, and adding legislation regarding COVID-19 vaccination mandates.

The GOP-run Texas legislature passed a new voting law during the second special legislative session that restricts the use of drive-through voting, adds additional ID requirements for absentee votes, and gives new protections for partisan poll watchers among other changes.

The second special session did not include any provisions about an audit of the vote count.

To remedy that, Trump highlighted a new bill filed by state GOP Rep. Steve Toth, which would allow for a forensic audit of the 2020 election, though only in the 13 most populous counties in the state, 10 of which voted a majority for President Joe Biden.

My Note: So, only places where Biden won? Seems prejudicial to me – how about you?

As noted in this release, Trump defeated Biden in Texas by nearly 6 percentage points – more than 600,000 votes in the 2020 election.

An audit of the state's votes would not change the election's outcome, especially after Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R) was unable to find any concrete proof of election fraud despite him offering $1 million reward to anyone who found documented fraud of which there was none.

As noted above, the Trump call for an investigation into the 2020 election results in Texas comes just one day before the group behind Arizona's flawed audit (i.e., Cyber Ninjas to release its audit findings on Friday, September 24).

My 2 Cents: As I stated up front this article proves and shows, and I strongly believe, just how insane Trump is, and how badly he strives to run the country as a tyrant. 

Trump once again is proving beyond a shadow of doubt just how much of the “Clear and Present Danger” he is to us all. 

Hopefully, and sooner than later, he will be prosecuted and go to prison and do time for many years for all his crimes and attempts at crime that are more and more documented and coming to light now very frequently, and he must pay that legal penalty ASAP.
