A call for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene
to be expelled
from Congress. A long but timely and needed post.
In one of her many Facebook posts in
2018, she reeplied to a supporter who asked how they can “hang former
President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi” said: “The stage
was being set and that it would need to be done perfectly.” She also posted on Facebook
in 2019 saying: “A bullet to the head would be quicker than an election for
removing Speaker Pelosi from office.”
She has also posted messages
about executing FBI agents working for the “deep state.”
In September of 2020, she posted
a meme of her “with a gun pointed towards progressive members of Congress.”
Further in June of 2020, Politico
unearthed past clips of Greene espousing racist, Islamophobic, and
anti-Semitic attitudes, saying in one video: “Muslims should be barred from
serving in government.”
Also she has said she thinks
“black people are held slaves to the Democratic Party.
She called George Soros, a
Jewish Democratic mega-donor a Nazi.
She has stated she would feel
“proud to see a Confederate monument if she were black because it symbolizes
progress made since the Civil War.”
She is a strong believer in a
trove of QAnon conspiracy theories in this excellent
run down from Politico in that regard. Examples range from untrue theories that
spring from actual events like:
— The robbery and killing of DNC
staffer Seth Rich “who was murdered by gang members hired by Democratic Party leaders.”
— The Rothschild family “was behind Princess Diana’s death.”
— German Chancellor Angela
Merkel is “Adolf Hitler’s grandchild.
Then she goes to the insane, arcane,
and the metaphysical side:
The belief that the most prominent members of the democratic “deep state cabal” harvest adrenal glands from children’s brains and sacrifice them to the satanic ancient God Moloch.
One alleges that Trump has arrested these evildoers — but
not physically here on Earth, but spiritually, on an interdimensional plane.
GOP leadership comments against her:
• House Minority Leader Kevin
McCarthy (R-CA) spokesman said: “These comments are appalling, and Leader McCarthy
has no tolerance for them.”
• House Minority Whip Steve
Scalise (R-LA) went further, throwing his weight behind Greene’s opponent,
saying: “The comments made by Ms. Greene are disgusting and don’t reflect the
values of equality and decency that make our country great, I will be supporting
Dr. Cowan.”
In recordings (also from POLITICO),
Greene described Islamic nations under Sharia law as places where men have sex
with “little boys, little girls, multiple women and marry their sisters and
their cousins.”
She suggested the 2018 midterms
— which ushered in the most diverse class of House freshmen — was part of “an
Islamic invasion of our government, and anyone that is a Muslim that believes
in Sharia law does not belong in our government.”
Greene in other videos has directly compared BLM activists to neo-Nazis and the KKK who marched at a white nationalist rally three years ago in Charlottesville, VA “denouncing BLM as idiots.”
Greene forcefully rejected the
notion there are racial disparities in the U.S. or that skin color affects the quality of one's life saying: “Guess what? Slavery is over. Black people have
equal rights.”
Greene’s campaign manager Isaiah
Wartman did not deny her past comments and veracity but declined to elaborate
on them.
Now a Trump-style con that she is pulling: She is texting supporters, seeking to raise money for her attempt to “Impeach Joe Biden.” However, the fine print of her solicitations, shows that any funds she takes in will be re-routed to her campaign account (ergo: Designed to keep her in office with money for the 2022 midterm cycle – does that sound like anyone you know).
Then sitting cross-legged on the
floor and sporting an American flag baseball cap, Greene said in another video
that unemployment, which affects people of color at disproportionately higher
rates than anyone else basically overall that “it is simply the product of bad
choices and being lazy.”
My 2 cents: For this GOP
and the entire congress if the resolution to remove Greene does in fact come to
a full floor vote, and my message is simple: Remove this crazy and apparently sick
and very dangerous person from the people’s house, and ASAP or sooner would be
better for the House, the GOP in general, and a national effort to return to logical
and rational sanity.
If anyone ever needed to be expelled from Congress is surely is Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene
Thanks for stopping by.
