American Expeditionary Forces “Doughboys”
November 11, 2020: Veterans Day.
Originally known as Armistice Day that marked the end of
WWI.
On that date in 1918, at the 11th Hour on the 11th Day of
the 11th Month the “Great War” ended. It had been the world’s first global
war.
Now it's an annual national holiday saluting all those who
have served and are now serving in our Armed Forces.
A hearty salute to all of them, men and women, all around
the globe protecting freedom as Americans have for decades.
