My 2 cents: Trump’s own words speak volumes. Simply, he wanted a favor from Ukraine to get dirt on the Biden’s and said Giuliani would get involved. 

Now, Trump denies even knowing Giuliani as if he were a rogue operative. Who actually believes that BS? 

But, that is Trump – his style, his M.O. Always has been.
