Mueller Requesting More Prosecutors: HIs Probe Widens As Heat Turned Up on Trump

Mueller Today: As New Marine Lieutenant in 1966 and to VN in 1968

Mueller seeks more investigators (prosecutors) – he has of staff of 17 right now, but is seeking more as his probe widens. Mueller’s appointment and mandate is seen below – note the highlighted RED boxes (my emphasis):
“After he was appointed by Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein, Robert Mueller and his team spent $7.7 million from May 2017 to March 2018 (Bloomberg reported). The DOJ spent $9 million over the same period.
Mueller has so far brought a number of indictments, charging four former Trump campaign associates: Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, Richard Gates, and George Papadopoulos with various offenses ranging from lying to the FBI to money laundering (see background below).
(I note: A big catch as it were is Trump’s former attorney, Michael “The so-called Fixer” Cohen, whose office and home were raided by the FBI. They ended up taking some 1 million documents. Cohen now waits the Mueller decision on his fate).
Mueller's Mandate: Note key points I have highlighted in RED

Noteworthy results to date:
(1) Alex van der Zwaan, a Dutch attorney, pleaded guilty to lying to FBI investigators during their investigation. He was sentenced to 30 days in prison in April 2018. He was the first one to be sentenced in the Mueller probe. He has since been deported.
(2) Richard Pinedo, a California man, sold bank accounts to Russians accused of interfering in the election. He pleaded guilty to using stolen identities to set up the accounts.
(3)  Mueller’s Grand Jury also indicted 13 Russian nationals, and three Russian companies. Most of them are not in the U.S. right now.
(4)  Manafort, Flynn, Gates, and Papadopoulos, could all very well be sentenced soon depending on the Grand Jury’s outcome and their recommendation.

My 2 cents: Mueller is cautious, methodical, very precise, and a true professional.
He has a tight grip on his team of investigators (prosecutors) with few if any leaks.
So, until he issues his final report to Dep. AG Rosenstein and then the public knows, we all have to tuned.
This investigation in my view is without any doubt the biggest and most-critical investigation in American political history.
Thanks for stopping by.
