This post recalls
two dreadful dates in our history prior to the January 6 Insurrection:
UPDATED AFTER THE POST: S/C Jack Smith now keenly focused on the December 18 W/H meeting listed below when the insurrection plot was hatched and presented to and from those close to Trump. That can be seen here in this legal presentation on MSNBC via YouTube - worth watching:
Added: Peter Navarro pitches the January 6 plan to Trump and attendees. The meeting ended at midnight. Note Trump's Tweet to followers:
The original post from here:
Dates: December 18
and 21, 2020
Place: The White
House
Purpose: December
21, get briefed and tied into the strategy to overturn the November 2020 election in
Trump’s favor (the loser) over Joe Biden (the winner) that was developed at the
December 18, 2020 meeting called the “craziest meeting of the entire Trump
administration” (NY TIMES report).
This from: BUSINESS INSIDER with their great details
and this headline:
“11 House Republicans attended a White House meeting with Trump to
strategize about overturning the election results on January 6. Six asked for
pardons”
The White House held a December 21, 2020, meeting to discuss a fringe theory to overturn the election.
The January 6, 2021, committee shared the names of 11 House Republicans who went to that meeting (names the bottom of page)
The House select committee investigating January 6, 2021,
offered details about a meeting at the White House that involved Republican
members of Congress ahead of the meeting of the joint session of Congress to
certify the 2020 presidential election by stopping that constitutional process.
Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-FL), member of the committee, outlined that December 21 meeting that was part of an effort “to disseminate Trump’s false claims and to encourage members of the public to fight the outcome on January 6.”
Former VP Mike Pence, Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, and W/H Chief of Staff Mark
Meadows also attended the meeting held with Trump.
Members discussed election theories pushed by Trump's personal lawyer John Eastman, who said he believed that Pence was able to single-handedly reject slates of electors as he presided over the EC vote session.
Note: In reality, Pence's role was simply to count the
votes.
The committee also aired footage of Pat Cipollone, Trump's
White House chief counsel, who was asked to address a comment attributed to him
by another Trump advisor, Jason Miller, who quoted him as saying that Eastman's
theory “was nutty.” Cipollone did not contradict that. Cipollone said he tried
to attend the meeting himself but was apparently turned away.
The 11 House Republicans
at that meeting (re: White House visitor logs) were:
1. Rep.
Mo Brooks of AL
2. Rep. Brian Babin of TX
3. Rep. Andy Biggs of AZ
4. Rep. Matt Gaetz of FL
5. Rep. Louie Gohmert of TX
6. Rep.
Paul Gosar of AZ
7. Rep.
Andy Harris of MD
8. Rep.
Jody Hice of GA
9. Rep. Jim Jordan of OH
10. Rep. Scott Perry of PA
11. Rep-elect Marjorie Taylor Greene of GA
The committee also shared the names of six Republicans who sought pardons from Trump in the final days of his administration and who attended that December 21, 2020.
Those
six are who sought pardons were: Biggs, Brooks, Gaetz, Gohmert, Perry, and
Taylor Greene.
My 2 Cents: This story contents is now in official government records.
Why is the GOP not investigating those 11 instead being glued to Hunter Biden?
The answer is self-evident: They are hypocrites and cowards and not telling the public the truth.
Plus: Why did 6 Republicans seek advance pardons from Trump?
Simple: They
approved and helped with the January 6 insurrection coup and they knew it was
crime.
