Neo-Nazis in Minneapolis: Not a Good Image for Minnesota or Elsewhere for that Matter

Nazis parading in Minneapolis, MN
(Looking like the 1920's and 1930's)

From INSIDER pretty disgusting story (refer to above image).

This so-called movement is not freedom of the press nor speech not one bit. This is Nazi-based and it must be declared illegal, unlawful, and a “clear and present” danger by any logical rational thinking or standard.

The story headline:

“Authorities in New York and Chicago warn Jewish communities to stay alert after neo-Nazi groups declare Day of Hate”

§  U.S authorities warned that neo-Nazi extremist groups are planning a “Day of Hate” for Saturday (February 25).

§  While there are no “credible threats,” police and watchdog groups are actively monitoring the situation.

§  Several white supremacist groups coordinated the “Day of Hate” on Telegram (BTW: Two Russian brothers developed).

Authorities in NYS and Chicago and watchdog groups warned that neo-Nazi extremist groups could be planning to target Jewish people in a “National Day of Hate” on Saturday, February 25.

The Chicago PD said in a Chicago Sun-Times statement: “At this time, there is no actionable intelligence. We continue to actively monitor the situation.”

Chicago authorities said they are: In contact with members, leaders, and organizations within the Jewish community and all faith-based communities in Chicago and will continue working closely with them to strengthen communication and safety.”

The NYPD online told officers:Maintain an elevated situational awareness on Saturday – the Jewish Sabbath – for violent extremism.”

That statement also said overtly anti-Semitic social media posts from extremists have been “instructing likeminded individuals to drop banners, place stickers and flyers, or scrawl graffiti to target Jewish people.”

The NYPD spokesperson added:No credible threats: but out of an abundance of caution, the Department will deploy additional resources to sensitive locations, including houses of worship, throughout the weekend,” (according to local news)

Researchers for the Counter Extremism Project found that several neo-Nazi groups had coordinated the “Day of Hate” on the messaging platform “Telegram” (origin from two Russian brothers).

On their app, the National Socialist Movement, a prominent neo-Nazi group based mainly in Iowa and California, encouraged other white supremacist groups to “send photos and videos of anti-Semitic rallies, the project said.

Oren Segal, vice president of the Anti-Defamation League's Center on Extremismtold the Forward the ADL found out about the “Day of Hate after monitoring extremist groups on social media for weeks. He noted: It's essentially a hodgepodge of white supremacist organizations, many of which engage in on-the-ground activity like flyer distribution, banners, protests, that sort of thing.

This comes as there has been a rise in anti-Semitic violence across the U.S in the past year, according to Axios, as well as an increase in racist social media posts. Jewish people have consistently been targeted in bias crimes more often than any other group in the United States, according to FBI statistics

My 2 Cents: Strictly personal, but I strongly think totally logical is that the U.S. Supreme Court will I hope they will and are paying attention to this story.

Then I hope they will stand up for what is right and declare this movement as unconstitutional, even if they have to do so on their own without any case.

We fought WWII to defeat Nazism: Fascism has a disdain for democracy and parliamentary systems.

It incorporated dictatorship of Adolf Hitler, fervent anti-Semitism, anti-communism, scientific racism, white supremacy, social Darwinism, and the use of eugenics while murdering more than 6 million Jews.

This “so-called movement in the U.S.” must be banned forever and now would be best to do that because only horrible things will come about if it is allowed to linger and possibly grow and carry out their mission of hate.

Finally, imagine what the world thinks of this image in any American city? Freedom – ha, maybe but on Nazi terms? I say never ever again.

Thanks for stopping by.
