With friends and
allies that Trump has as described in the article below then he doesn’t need enemies
or harsh critics either I guess?
The headline story:
“A Trump ally
produced an unpublished letter meant to help him. It actually spells out even
graver concerns over classified documents at Mar-a-Lago”
Business Insider story highlights:
A Trump ally triumphantly published a letter to him about
his storage of government secrets at Mar-a-Lago.
That Trump ally is John Solomon, a conservative journalist, who highlighted in his letter showing
the arms-length involvement of President Joe Biden (but not a totally true
connection, however) in the investigation that later led to the raid at Trump's
home.
But his letter also revealed
the previously-unknown scale of secret information contained in Mar-a-Lago documents
and just how damaging Federal officials thought they were to national security.
Legal experts were quick to say this was the more serious
revelation than any Biden presidential involvement (which was very slight as
the article explains). But in fact, Solomon's letter actually backfires and
shows more harm by and for Trump.
My 2 Cents: Full details of this fine article is at the Business Insider link.
All of the above clearly shows
we don’t need to see any more evidence of the harm that Trump has inflicted in
this national security breach case – which BTW is overwhelming and a lot of the depth and damage is still unknown. For example, did Trump copy or produce and give anything
to our adversaries to gain favor from them? That is not a farfetched question –
it is very much in his personality.
More below on that supposition:
Based on knowing how
devious and underhanded Trump is to gain friendship with adversarial leaders
worldwide (Kim in North Korea and Putin in Russia) he is always ready to show his importance
to them verbally or in writing.
Recall the Oval Office
meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov and Russian Ambassador Kislyak on
May 10, 2017 reported on in this NPR story: “I just fired the head of the FBI. He was crazy, a real
nut job. I faced great pressure because of Russia. That's taken off the table.”
Both of the Russians roared
in laughter at that news – (Oval Office photo above shows them yucking it up over that firing news).
Later former White House press secretary Sean Spicer did not dispute
the account of the conversation. In a statement to NPR, he argued that the
Russia investigation was harming U.S. foreign policy saying: “The President
has always emphasized the importance of making deals with Russia as it relates
to Syria, Ukraine, defeating ISIS and other key issues for the benefit and
safety of the American people. By grandstanding and politicizing the
investigation into Russia's actions, James Comey created unnecessary pressure
on our ability to engage and negotiate with Russia. The investigation would
have always continued, and obviously, the termination of Comey would not have
ended it. Once again, the real story is that our national security has been
undermined by the leaking of private and highly classified conversations.”
Yeah, that kind of
arrogant, stupid, narrow-minded, and out of touch Donald J. Trump. The damage
to our country inflicted by Trump will last for untold decades. That is a
well-known fact.
Thanks for stopping by.
