Trump is on that path. Less than two months into his term as president, Trump called mainstream press “the enemy of the people.” To Russians, that phrase isn’t just troubling — it also sounds deadly and was.

“Enemy of the People was the official designation for those condemned under Article 58 of the Russian Criminal Code. Adopted in 1926, Article 58 gave the government broad power to arrest people suspected of counter-revolutionary activities — including “propaganda and agitation against the Soviet power. Over the course of 35 years, it was responsible for the deaths of millions of innocent people.” 

Now here we are today (again) with this stuff from Trump — in the Washington Post article above. Wake up, America, this can't end well.

 A very big part of the Anger we see today in our society is caused by the purposely false and inaccurate reporting of the Mainstream Media that I refer to as Fake News. Bombs and explosive devices in the mail: Explosive devices were found in mail sent to former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and to CNN. Officials said that sparked an intensive investigation into whether a bomber is targeting prominent Democratic figures including the bomb in the mailbox found at George Soros home yesterday – and all of these are in NY.

Speculation on my part, but strong possibility is that Trump’s anti-DEM, anti-“Crooked” Hillary, anti-erase-everything-Obama, and anti-George “funding illegals” Soros verbal campaign seems to be taking hold and working – to wit the latest from the NY TIMES:

The devices were similar to one found on Monday at the home of the George Soros (see below and from here) the billionaire philanthropist and liberal donor, who has often come under fierce criticism from conservatives and conspiracy theorists.

None of the devices harmed anyone. Law enforcement officials said they were investigating whether all three were sent by the same person or persons.

Soros and his activism have made him a villain to conservative groups and the target of anti-Semitic smears – examples:

·        Roseanne Barr called him a Nazi in an infamous tweetstorm, and just this month,

·        Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) falsely speculated that Mr. Soros had funded a caravan of migrants moving north toward Mexico.

·        There is no evidence that Soros paid thousands of migrants to storm the border nor any evidence that Democrats supported the effort, as Trump has said.

Soros backed John Kerry in 2004, Obama in 2008, and Hillary Clinton and other Democrats candidates in 2016. He is a constant target subset of Republicans and conservatives. 

Soros has said many times that his main goal as a political activist was to see a return to bipartisanship and that the extremism of the Republican Party prompted him to become a major Democratic donor. 

Plus, Mr. Soros says he is also opposed to the extreme left and once even said: “I don’t particularly want to be a Democrat either.”

Now he and Obama and Clinton and CNN get bombs in his mailbox and mailed to them.

The motive of the would-be Soros bomber and now the Obama and Clinton bombers remains unclear, one of the officials said, adding that there had not yet been any claim of responsibility.

Law enforcement agencies were also closely examining possible ties between the packages to Soros, according to one federal law enforcement official. The connection was being “strongly considered” the official said.

My 2 cents: Related to this is also from the article - Earlier this month, Federal authorities said they intercepted multiple packages suspected of containing the lethal substance ricin, addressed to President Trump and at least two top Pentagon officials (payback to Soros, Obama, and Clinton perhaps?).

Meanwhile a White House statement condemned “the attempted violent attacks,” adding: “These terrorizing acts are despicable, and anyone responsible will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. The United States Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies are investigating and will take all appropriate actions to protect anyone threatened by these cowards.”

How extreme is that Mr. and Mrs. We Hate George Soros, and now Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton – so, we ask: “Who is the next prominent DEM person?” A logical question.

So, stay tuned this possible growing threat – it could get worse. Maybe the Obama Clinton examples are “test runs” (but the Soros mailbox bomb is real) used to spot weakness then plant or send bigger bombs – who knows. 

Time will tell but one thing is for sure, the ugly language and personal attacks mostly, yes, mostly from the Trump-style hyping certainly does not help could be fanning those flames. 

Now the “right” blames DEMS for the bombs being mailed to themselves – that was anticipated. Whew boy.

Time will prove the truth and facts one way or the other.
