Hunter Biden Indicted: On Three Gun-Related Felony Counts Which Never Should Have Been

Major breaking story vis-à-vis Hunter Biden now has 3 gun-related charges just filed against him by S/C Weiss cited here from the WASHINGTON EXAMINER with this headline:

Intro to the article: A grand jury delivered an indictment Thursday against President Joe Biden's son Hunter over allegations he unlawfully owned a gun while addicted to drugs. The indictment, brought by special counsel David Weiss, included three charges against him related to gun possession. The indictment came as expected after S/C Weiss revealed in a court filing this month that he planned to obtain an indictment before September 29 that would be in in line with the Speedy Trial Act.

Weiss initially planned to strike a plea deal with Hunter Biden over three charges, the gun charge and two misdemeanor tax charges, but the deal fell apart in July when a federal judge raised questions at a plea hearing about how the deal would affect prosecutors' ability to bring future charges against the younger Biden.

GOP reaction (as expected) from House-run GOP who is still chasing President Joe Biden: The indictment followed the Republican-led House announcing Tuesday it had launched an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden based on allegations that he had been inappropriately involved in his son's foreign business dealings while serving as vice president.

As part of that inquiry, three key Republicans Reps. James Comer (R-KY); Jim Jordan (R-OH); and Jason Smith (R-MO) all have criticized the DOJ “for slow-walking its investigation of the younger Biden” and bringing what they view as weak charges while meeting behind-the-scenes with federal investigators involved in this full Hunter Biden case are now (again) questioning why S/C Weiss did not bring other charges: (1) Tax violations for the 2014 and 2015 tax years; and (2) for violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

My 2 Cents: So what follows? Pretty simple from the news coverage today from all sides. Hunter’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell explained on MSNBC [click here] that he had the gun only for 11days, it was never loaded, and it was never fired. He also admitted he lied on the Federal purchase application form.

In fact, Hunter Biden also paid the IRS back taxes and with with the penalties.

As for the FARA neglect: He never worked for any foreign government. He worked for an American company in a foreign country – that is NOT the same thing.

So, the B/L? The Biden “crime family” searching by this GOP (three named above), will go on forever. They will try to compare it to Trump and that BTW is NOT even close, ergo: That like is purely political. Ho hum, nothing new there. 

Comer, Jordan, and Smith (named above) will sustain their crime seeking lack of skills to look for evidence that does not exist, and they will never give up. 

Remember their “star witnesses” against Hunter Biden who would nail Joe Biden for them, too. How'd that turn out? All were duds and one is a felon who is still on the run (Gal Luft).
