Define Pompous: Trump on Indictment & Conviction vs. 2024: "I'd Never Drop Out Not My Thing"

How much more arrogant & criminal can he get
(A helluva lot more it seems)

Best con man; great Flim-Flam artist; perfect Snake Oil salesman; and yet, worst criminal president ever with many world records: Two impeachments; first indicted; most documented lies while in office (over 33,000); and now possibly a traitor by showing off and/or giving classified documents to campaign donors at Mar-a-Lago, etc., etc., Ad infinitum.

Now this update from The AP with this headline:

“Trump raised $34m so far in 2023, including indictment bump”

NEW YORK (AP) — Trump has raised more than $34 million for his 2024 White House run since the start of the year, according to his campaign.

His latest fundraising report due to be filed Saturday with the FEC will show he raised more than $18.8 million between his main campaign account and a joint fundraising account over the first three months of the year, the campaign said.

Of that $18.8 million, $4 million was raised after March 30, when Trump was indicted by a grand jury in Manhattan on charges related to a hush money case stemming from the 2016 election. The fundraising numbers first reported by Politico.

Quote above from the video clip hereDefiant Donald Trump declares he’ll run to become president even if convicted saying: “I’d never drop out.”

Trump began raising money off the news of his indictment, and his campaign said he took in $15.4 million in the two weeks after the charges were filed and the reporting period closed for the fundraising reports.

Trump, who is also facing several other criminal investigations, has tried to use his legal troubles to galvanize supporters, claiming all the cases are politically motivated. He has portrayed the New York charges as “election interference” but also suggested they may help him win support.

However, the best outcome ever:

How would that play out for the voters

Trump has dominated the GOP field in the early stages of the 2024 presidential race. But many high-dollar GOP donors have been looking to send their support elsewhere this time. Until his indictment, his campaign fundraising had lagged behind the massive amounts he used to raise in days or in hours when he was president.

Only a few candidates have officially entered the race: Trump's U.N. ambassador and former SC Gov. Nikki Haley; former AR Gov. Asa Hutchinson (announced days after Trump's indictment); and Tech Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy

More candidates, including FL Gov. Ron DeSantis, are expected to enter the race by the time next fundraising reports are due in mid-July.

My 2 Cents: I say there is no way Trump will get the GOP nomination or if he does, no way he will win in 2024.

However, should he get the GOP nomination, run and lose (again), then he will make January 6 turn into Civil War II – based on him saying: “I’ll never give up.”

That is who is he – a loser who in his whole life as never admitted a loss either in office or in court … he is simply a horrible, horrible human being.

How anyone can stand with or by him is possibly worse even if that’s humanly possible to be worse, such as Republicans like Rep. Jim Jordan (OH), Elise Stefanik (NY), Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA), Lauren Boebert (CO), Kevin McCarthy (CA), and many others – that is totally mind boggling to say the least.

Thanks for stopping by.
