Too Many Guns: Too Many Killed Too Much Talk, Hype, Money & Politics and Lack of Leadership

This post has many charts below that speak directly to this growing problem in our county.

The B/L: Assault rifles are in the hands of too many and especially too many young killers – why is that?

The 1994 assault weapon ban worked (expired after 10 years thanks to the NRA and GOP efforts in Congress not to renew it).

By most accounts and data, it worked and data does not lie – but sadly our staunch gun advocates in congress lie as they hype talk around the issue with weak other reasons and causes rather the a focus on the real problem at hand, and especially in school shootings.

In my view with many years of personal experience with weapons as a now retired Marine and combat Vet and still a supporter of the 2nd Amendment, no one except the military should have possession of any kind of assault rifle (AR-15’s the recent two deadly incidents in NY and TX) along with LCM’s (Large Capacity Magazines), period.

Those two things have one thing in common: To shoot and kill as many people as possible and as quickly as possible with a maximum impact on bystanders and others.

Thanks for stopping by.
