Tiki
torch carrying White Nationalists in Charlottesville, VA
(Chanting: “You will
not replace us” in August 2017)
Wow very startling FBI intelligence assessment
report story below.
Background: Recall that Trump proclaimed last
week that he was a “nationalist” and BTW Trump is white – ego: Trump is a “White
Nationalist” Wow...!!!
So, I wonder
to what group he was sending that message and what does it mean – this Trump dog
whistle as they say to the: Alt-Right, White Nationalists, Neo-Nazis,
Skin-heads, KKK members, and White Supremacists.
That FBI intelligence report here from
NEWSWEEK >>>
Background and More Info:
The white
nationalist movement defies easy description, in part because it lacks formal
leadership or structure. Instead, adherents espouse a wide range of views, from
limiting immigration to forcible separation of races. Other facets seek a more
militant, male-dominated culture.
Trump's
repeated calls to build a wall on the Mexican border and ban refugees from
several Muslim countries have emboldened white nationalists who see stricter
border controls as an important first step. They also welcomed Trump's warning
that traditional European culture was being altered by immigrants from Muslim
countries.
Trump’s
message:
“I just think it is
changing the culture, I think it is a very negative thing for Europe. I know it
is politically not necessarily correct to say that, but I will say it and I
will say it loud.”
Conversely,
millions of conservative white voters who back Trump believe former President Obama
is largely to blame for fanning the flames of racial resentment and dividing
the country.
They blame
him for the rise of “Black Lives Matter”
and agree with Trump’s comments that “many sides were responsible for the racial
violence we saw in
Charlottesville, VA (August 2017) for example.
“Blood and Soil!” – The White Nationalist’s marching and rally call – what does
it mean?
We
heard it in Charlottesville, VA in August 2017. It was the English rendition of
Nazi Germany’s most fervent chant, Blut und Boden! (Blood & Soil) – it was originally
devised as a slogan of 19th Century German nationalists and
popularized by Nazi ideologue Richard Walter Darre.
The
phrase is intended to invoke patriotic identification with native national
identity, and to build on a foundation of virulent anti-Semitism and racism. It
later became a key component of Adolf Hitler’s Lebensraum program, which sought to expand territories
occupied by Germans. It also was a major factor in the Holocaust drive.
The
slogan in present day has been adopted by the alt-right, particularly its openly neo-Nazi
element.
My 2 cents: And, here we are today – some 80 years after the birth of and the fall of Hitler and Nazi Germany with the end of WWII.
Now we see some sort of “back to the future” – how pathetic is that – free speech in America, right? People now claim and ask: What is wrong with us?
This is probably part of the bigger problem, you think?
