Power Broker Putin and Powerless Trump: One Team, One Message, One Tune, in Sync

Mr. and Mrs. Gee Old Poops: Asleep on duty and can't find the switch
(Nearly too late to act or react)

Presidents Trump and both Putin now blame forces within the United States for marring what they called the success of their first summit, and Trump saying he looked forward to their second meeting.

Trump has struggled to quiet a political uproar over his failure at the July 16 “summit in Helsinki” to confront Putin over Russia's meddling in the 2016 election, and he renewed his fierce criticism of one of his favorite targets, the news media, saying bluntly that the media distorted his comments that gave credence to Putin's denials of election interference despite the conclusions of the entire American intelligence community about Moscow's conduct in it then in a standard Trump tweet he said again:

“The Summit with Russia was a great success, except with the real enemy of the people, the Fake News Media.”

Then Trump added: “I look forward to our second meeting so that we can start implementing some of the many things discussed, including stopping terrorism, security for Israel, nuclear proliferation, cyber-attacks, trade, Ukraine, Middle East peace, North Korea and more.”

(I ask: More of what and how. Mr. Trump, you are obligated to inform Congress and to enlighten the public about any “deals” you made in our name and on our behalf with Russia and Putin, period. There can be no exception to that – you must not spring any deep dark plans or wink-wink deals on us to fit your time table. Tell us precisely what “deals” or promises you made with and for Putin).

Trump drew a barrage of criticism in the United States, including from lawmakers in both parties, after he refused to blame Putin for the election meddling. Putin has denied such interference. Then later Trump said he had misspoke and then accused “some people” of hating the fact that he got along with Putin.

In Moscow, Putin played the same card: He accused forces in the United States of trying to undermine the success of his meeting with Trump, but said the two leaders had begun to improve US-Russia ties anyway and speaking to Russian diplomats from around the world, he said the Helsinki summit had been successful adding: “It was successful overall and led to some useful agreements. Of course, let's see how events will develop further.”

(Note: Trump said without disclosing the nature of the agreements he referred to).

My 2 cents: It is pretty clear to me and I’m sure to many Russian watchers that Putin has Trump right where he wants him – eating out of the palm of his hand.

We are in for some very rough and tough times ahead folks – that is painfully obvious. So, so what are the Putin goals and agendas: It’s obvious: (1) To get all the sanctions off his back, and (2) have a free rein in Europe to put Russia (long in the shadows of the old USSR) back in play on the world’s center stage.

Trump acting for whole country now clearly aids and abets Putin in his mission goals. That aspect is extremely troubling.

Dark secrets and shady deals from Trump are doomed for failure – he has a past record to prove without any doubt. He has a history of making crappy deals that cost hundreds of millions of dollars as he pulls out or gets kicked out or sued and in his wake he leaves pain, agony, and destruction behind him as he moves on to the next con job. I say con since they are no worthwhile deals with any validity.

What Trump is anything but a good deal – unless we replace the word “good” with the word “raw” in front deal…!!!

This new Trump reality show continues without interruption, just as he has painfully planned for a very long time – own America on his terms. Stay tuned.

Thanks for stopping by.
