Three Main Actors in the Nunes Memo Final Draft
(Dumb, Dumber, and Dumbest)
According
to three
sources in this story from the Daily Beast who have knowledge of conversations
that Trump had with Sean Hannity over the phone in recent weeks and all the
while Hannity was encouraging a prompt
release of a controversial four-page Nunes FISA Memo – that was just released
today. Original
story is here from Media Matters.
Hannity
has gone to the wall very recently all over FOX pushing for the public release
of the memo.
Sources
say Hannity’s persistent advocacy reinforced Trump’s already growing
determination to get that memo into the public realm — despite huge potential
fallout within the law enforcement and intelligence arms of his own
administration.
In
their conversations, Trump and Hannity discussed the memo and its supposed
bombshell-level significance, and how it could shed light on the alleged anti-Trump
bias and “corruption” at the FBI.
On
those calls, Trump directly referenced specific
recent Hannity segments related to #ReleaseTheMemo, according to
one of three sources with knowledge of their conversations.
Note:
The White House press office did not respond to requests for comment on this
story and Hannity declined to comment as well.
Sources,
two in the White House and the other an outside adviser, spoke on the condition
of anonymity to discuss any private conversations.
My 2 cents: So, yes the label dumb,
dumber, and dumbest is apropos in this case assuming those call took place and
thee is not reason to doubt the several sources to fill this story.
I wonder is Hannity, Trump, and
Nunes have tap dancing shoes all polished and ready for use… doubtful they’ll
ever use them at this point – stay tuned.
Thanks for stopping by.
