WTF: Trump Awards $297 Million Contract to Private Foreign Company to Recruit for CBP

“Foreign Hire Contractor: Yeah, Trump Here. I have vacancies”
(And, yeah, since you're here - see below, too)

HSD Needs 5,000 CBP Agents ASAP — So, Step on It
(How about $300 million to fill them ASAP)

The headlines from the Con Man-in-Chief:

Key Points: With a mandate from Trump to hire 5,000 new Border Patrol agents, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) awarded a $297-million contract to a private foreign company to help recruit and hire new agents and other workers.

The contract with a division of Accenture, an international professional services corporation with $35 billion in revenues in 2017.

It comes at a time when the Border Patrol is struggling to meet minimum staffing levels mandated by Congress and is losing more agents each year than it hires.

I note: Maybe after this deal, Ireland will finally approve Trump's wall there in front of his golf course that they turned down once before, you think?

Trump to pay private firm (with French CEO and located in Ireland) some $297 million to help hire 5,000 U.S. Border Patrol agents

The Company: Accenture PLC

This foreign company is a global management consulting and professional services company that provides a strategy, consulting, digital, technology, and operations services. A Fortune Global 500 company, it has been incorporated in Dublin, Ireland, since 1 September 2009.

In 2017, the company reported net revenues of $34.9 billion, with more than 425,000 employees serving clients in more than 200 cities in 120 countries. In 2015, the company had about 130,000 employees in India, about 48,000 in the US.

My 2 cents: A simple why use a foreign company to recruit and hire like this?

MAGA, my ass. More like what I call “Art of the Con.”

A foreign company contracted for nearly $300 million to create help fill jobs here at home?

The best job creator ever, right Mr. and Mrs. Gee Old Poops – even this way, I guess.

How about a simple: Ho Lee Shït? BTW: This deal stinks to high heaven.
