Q: How Do GOP Crows Eat Their Own Words? A: One Video Clip At a Time

Sign Over Iraq: "Welcome Back, America..."

On Broadway: Act III
(Producers: Poppy Bush, Dubya, Barack O)

GOP New View of America
(With Minor Wardrobe Adjustment)

We've gone from this:

“Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

To this (my take):  “Give us your low-wage workers, kids without parents, any homeless, all the tired, a few helpless, some sick, and young men who are strong and want to serve on active duty, and bring your own lamp oil.”

Watch the first 8 minutes or so from this “The Daily Show” with Jon Stewart (June 26, 2014). It is both amazing and educational.

Catch it here ... I emphasize those few minutes to focus on the actual words of the GOPers seen and heard in the clip, that is the statements and policy positions in their own words. Those words are astonishing and worrisome, not even the least of which is pure horseshit hypocrisy ... but, hey, that’s the GOP we’ve grown accustomed to lately.

Enjoy, and thanks for stopping by.
